To ensure optimal results and a smooth treatment experience, please follow these guidelines before your appointment:
Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements for 7–10 days prior (consult your physician before stopping prescribed medications)
Limit alcohol consumption for 24–48 hours before treatment
Stay well hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment
Eat a healthy meal before your appointment to support comfort during treatment
Arrive with clean skin, free of makeup or skincare products
Inform your provider of any recent cosmetic procedures, infections, or changes in medication
After Your Renuva® Treatment
Proper aftercare supports healing and helps your results develop naturally:
Expect mild swelling, tenderness, or bruising for several days
Avoid touching, pressing, or massaging treated areas for 24–48 hours
Sleep with your head elevated for the first 1–2 nights if treating the face
Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and excessive heat for 24–48 hours
Use gentle skincare and avoid active ingredients (retinol, acids) for several days
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours after treatment
Wear SPF 30+ daily and limit direct sun exposure
Results develop gradually as your body forms new fat cells in the treated area, with continued improvement over several weeks to months.
