VI Peel

The VI Peel is a medical-grade chemical peel designed to improve tone, texture, clarity, and overall skin health.

This advanced formulation stimulates collagen production while brightening the skin, smoothing fine lines, softening scarring, and reducing hyperpigmentation. The peel works at multiple layers of the skin to provide visible, lasting improvement with minimal downtime.

VI Peel can be customized for acne-prone skin, melasma, sun damage, early signs of aging, and overall brightening. When paired with treatments such as dermaplaning or DiamondGlow, it creates a powerful resurfacing experience that enhances absorption and accelerates results.

Preparing for Your VI Peel Treatment

To ensure optimal results and minimize complications, follow these guidelines before your appointment:

  • Discontinue retinol, retinoids, and exfoliating acids (AHAs, BHAs) for 3–7 days before treatment

  • Avoid waxing, threading, or other hair removal treatments on the face for at least one week prior

  • Do not undergo laser treatments, microneedling, or other facial procedures for at least two weeks before your peel

  • Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning for at least two weeks prior

  • Arrive with a clean face, free of makeup or skincare products

  • Inform your provider if you have a history of cold sores—prophylactic antiviral medication may be recommended

  • Avoid blood-thinning medications if possible (consult your physician first)

  • Do not schedule your peel if you have active breakouts, sunburn, open wounds, or irritated skin

  • Plan for peeling downtime—your skin will visibly shed for 3–7 days post-treatment

After Your VI Peel Treatment

Proper aftercare is critical for achieving the best results and avoiding complications:

Days 1–2 (Post-Application):

  • Do not wash your face or get the peel wet for the time period specified by your provider (typically 4–8 hours)

  • Avoid touching your face

  • Do not apply any products other than those provided or approved by your provider

  • Sleep with your head elevated on a clean towel or pillowcase

Days 3–7 (Peeling Phase):

  • Do NOT pick, pull, or peel the skin—allow it to shed naturally

  • Wash your face gently with a mild, non-foaming cleanser as directed

  • Apply only provider-approved moisturizers and post-peel products

  • Avoid makeup until peeling is complete (typically 5–7 days)

  • Stay out of direct sun exposure—wear SPF 30+ and reapply frequently

  • Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, hot tubs, and excessive sweating until peeling is complete

  • Do not use retinol, acids, or active skincare ingredients until cleared by your provider (typically 7–10 days)

Ongoing Care:

  • Continue using SPF 30+ daily for at least four weeks post-peel

  • Avoid waxing, lasers, or other facial treatments for at least two weeks

  • Keep skin well-hydrated and moisturized

  • Contact your provider immediately if you experience unusual pain, prolonged redness, signs of infection, or scarring

Peeling typically begins on day 3 and lasts 3–7 days. Some clients experience light flaking while others have more dramatic shedding. This is normal and part of the renewal process. Results continue to improve over the following weeks as fresh, healthy skin is revealed.
